Our Board
Roger Marlow and Steve Pashley are the two co-founders of Health2Works. Joining Roger and Steve on the Board as non-executive directors are two recently retired NHS Chief Esecutives, with vast experience of the NHS.
Simon Robbins
Simon brings a wealth of public and third sector Board experience, and a substantial range of senior contacts in health, local government and the Civil Service. Simon had a thirty-year career in the NHS, with the last 20 years as an NHS Chief Executive in Health Authorities, Strategic Health Authorities, PCTs and NHS Clusters in London and the South East. Simon’s work often focused on bringing about major change to health and social care systems facing significant strategic challenges. Simon’s last CEO role was leading the major hospital reconfiguration programme in south-east London.
Mike Pyrah
Mike Pyrah had a 34 year career in the NHS mainly working in the Northwest and West Midlands. For the last 17 years Mike has been an NHS Chief Executive, undertaking this role for a Mental Health Trust in Wolverhampton and latterly for a large PCT in Cheshire. Mike has enjoyed a number of national NHS roles, including being a Board Member of the NHS Employers organisation, and a member of the National Equality and Diversity Council. Mike is also a past President of the Healthcare People Management Association.
Roger Marlow
Roger is a co-founder of Health2Works. Prior to starting Health2Works Roger worked in the software industry as a developer, project manager, consultant and IT consultancy company director. Roger has previously worked at ThoughtWorks, m.a.partners, Long-Term Capital Management, Credit Suisse Financial Products and Logica.
Steve Pashley
Steve also is a co-founder of Health2works. Prior to starting Health2Works Steve worked for over 20 years with the NHS in a consultancy capacity. For most of this time Steve has focused on facilitating strategic conversations between NHS Chief Executives and senior clinicians and managers. Steve also spent 2 years working in the States, as an Advisor on Organisational Development to a large US non for profit healthcare system.
Our Core team
Joining Roger and Steve in the core team are three talented and committed people. Lead Programmer Andy Goundry, Lead Designer Jon Hardcastle and Lead Analyst Paul Hanks. The core team is supported at any one time by a group of between 5 and 8 experienced programmers and designers operating from locations in the UK and Europe.
Andy Goundry
Andy is our Lead Developer. A programmer with over 12 years commercial experience delivering user centred web applications for clients such as HSBC, BT PlusNet, BECTA and Patient.co.uk. Andy is a certfied SCRUM master and experienced analyst and project team leader.
Jon Hardcastle
Jon is our Lead Designer and user experience expert. Jon has responsibility for ensuring our products are easy to use, accessible and functionally coherent. He has 15 years experience working for a variety of organisations and clients including BBC Worldwide, Capita and Redhouse Lane.
Paul Hanks
Paul is our Lead Analyst and before joining us spent 20 years working for a large biopharmaceutical company, first as researcher and then in R&D IT. Paul spends a large proportion of his time discussing requirements with our clients and ensuring that our software commitments are fulfilled in a timely manner.
